The pocket book is an 80pg 8x10 book that showcases pockets as more than an item of clothing. Pockets are a hurdle women still need to overcome in regards to gender equality. Extensive source curating and text editing was conducted to comprise an easy to follow but deeply insightful look at women’s pockets, along with some of my own photography and illustrations. The three main sections of my book include:

The Pocket Problem - Covering the reasons why women don’t have functional pockets today ex. sexualization and large purses.

A Pocket’s Past - The history of women’s pockets and the independence it gave them.

Pocket Pioneers - Covers Brands and startups that are currently trying to fix the problem.
